It's been a while since my last post. I've been volunteering at the Youth With a Mission base in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin. I'm still here, but my role is changing. YWAM runs different schools that are full-time and last for several months at a time. Our base is currently running a school called "School of Biblical Foundations" (SBF). I'm now a student in that school, which begins today.
This school teaches about the bible, how to defend one's faith, the different views on various bible doctrines, and most important, how to study the bible and get to know God better. There are five students in the school. We'll be very busy, since the courseload is equivalent to a semester at seminary (AKA just as difficult!) The school will run from March 21 to June 24.
As busy as I'll be, I hope to post regularly on what God is doing in my life. Please pray for: finances- I need 1200 dollars to do the school, perseverance and an open heart. Please also pray for Tom and Joanna as they lead the school. Tom has been leading this school for 5 years. Joanna is his assistant this year, and one of my closest friends here. This will be Joanna's first time leading the school (she was a student last year).
Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement!
