University DTS

University DTS has begun! We have 9 girls, and two guys. They are from Virginia, Milwaukee, Florida, Taiwan, Texas, Mexico, California and other places. I have two roommates named Ariana and Alana. We live in an old sorority house just off campus (ours is the first house that isn't on campus on our street. Last night we took a bus tour of the campus and Madison. Our house, called the Phos house, not only has DTS students in it, but also has students from UW Madison living in it. Many of them are internationals, and most are Christian. The atmosphere is completely different here. It seems more relaxed, and there are more things to do in the city.

This is our group. We have four staff: Greg, who's the leader of the school, Dawn, who oversees all of Madison's training programs, Tim, and Jenn. My roommates are the girl in the back row with the glasses (Alana) and the girl in the front row in the gray t-shirt with pink letters (Ariana). Our classroom is a few blocks from where we live. The walk plus all of the stairs in the house give me plenty of exercise. I live on the second floor, and we eat in the basement.

Prayer requests: 1. Energy! I'm exhausted. All of the physical activity plus busyness of classes, meetings, and homework are tiring me out. But on the plus side, I sleep really well.
2. That God would show Himself to everyone in the group.
3. That we would be able to bond well together and develop a strong sense of community and unity during this getting-to-know-each-other phase.

Madison really is beautiful, and I'm really enjoying it.
